My Term 2 Art Reflection

Last term for art we did lino prints, these two photos are my finished Lino print. As you can see the one on the left has a blue backround on the tree,it as a blue backround because we had two prints to do on each colour. On the left one when I done the blue onto the yellow it was out of place so when I put on the black the blue ended up behind the black.

I will tell you the basics in lino cutting/printing.
First you have to draw out whatever you're doing then get a 6b art pencil and draw it onto the lino bit then mark out whatever you are going to cut out first. After you ink the lino you put a piece of paper over top so you can get your first inked bit. Then wash the lino and mark out where you are cutting next after you cut out your lino ink it again then get the paper and line it up with the last print and then push the paper down.Just do that until all the lino is gone don’t just do the same colour use lots of different colours because that is the whole point of lino cutting/printing
