100th anniversary of Anzac
On 25th April 2015 is the 100th anniversary of Anzac Day. Anzac Day is the day of the year to remember all the soldiers that died in war. This week at school we have been learning and researching about world war 1 and 2.Every year when we have Anzac ay mostly everyone wears a poppy for Anzac Day. It's a little red flower. Anzac stands for Australia & New Zealand Army Corps.In world war 1 9 million people died and in world war 2 60 million people died and millions were wounded. world war 1 went on for 3 years and world war 2 for 6 years. Every year everyone comes to the local hall for Anzac Day.
