Today at school we got knew art and Trilling Thursday groups. For art I went to Mrs Barkers group we are doing a lino cut of houses. For Thrilling Thursday I moved from drama to science Mrs Barker also takes science. Thrilling Thursday is a Thursday when we have three groups to choose from Drama Science and Sport. I piked Drama first then today we swoped and I got moved to science.

On 25th April 2015 is the 100th anniversary of Anzac Day. Anzac Day is the day of the year to remember all the soldiers that died in war. This week at school we have been learning and researching about world war 1 and 2.Every year when we have Anzac ay mostly everyone wears a poppy for Anzac Day. It's a little red flower. Anzac stands for Australia & New Zealand Army Corps.In world war 1 9 million people died and in world war 2 60 million people died and millions were wounded. world war 1 went on for 3 years and world war 2 for 6 years. Every year everyone comes to the local hall for Anzac Day.

On Monday morning my class went to Totara springs Christian centre we got there at like ten a'clock then we unloaded the cars and the teacher showed us were the cabins are then we put our  stuff in.After that we went to the hall for the Instructors to tell us the rules and then we went and done top town. Then after that we had about 4 hours free time then went kayaking went on a water slide and jumped off a bridge 3 meters high and landed in water 5 meters deep then we went back to the cabins and had diner brushed our teeth had a shower and went to bed.The next day we done 5 activities they were crate climbing,Absailing,Go karting,rock climbing,flying fox.On day three we went on the hydro slide went in the hot pool and then packed up and went home at about lunch time. This morning In maths we were doing decimals and we had two questions the first one was 23.12-22.63 I was the only one that got it right the answer was 0.49.The next one was pretty hard I got it wrong by a bit. This is a picture of me showing my group how I worked  out the first question.I reversed the operation and then made a number line and worked my way to the number 23.12 from 22.63 and then added up what I added to get to the number.

Every Thursday in the morning we do art in class and I was in Mrs Sixsmiths group we were doing buildings and painted our backround  in circles. I was one of the people that finished first there's still a couple of people to finish also. This is a picture of my finished piece.

Today at my maths meting we were doing decimals on IXL and I got the question write 58 hudredths and 78 thousands and I got it right. This is a screen shot of the next question and my totle of my points,time and how much questions I did.

Today in maths me and my friend Jett got three medals on IXL. IXL is an online maths website we had lots of practice. We have got the gold medal once aswell. The person on the right is me.
