TV Critic Simpsons-4/5 Family Guy-3/5 CRC Motorsport-5/5 3 News-5/5 The dukes of hazzard-5/5 American Dad-3/5 I rated the simpsons ⅘ because it is a really funny tv programme but some things about it are weird. Family guy was rated ⅗ because It's funny but different at the same time so I only watch it when there's nothing on. CRC Motorsport is really cool because it always has something different on and I love different vehicles so I rated it  5/5 3 news was rated 5/5 because it always tells you about what's happening around the world I rated 5/5 for the duke of hazzard because I love cars and that's a perfect programme for me American dad was rated ⅗ because i only like watching it when there's a good part because it's usually boring.

The marama way is I list of things we can and cant do.The marama way is a big laminated poster that was made online.Some of the things are Be Brave,Include All Others,Tell The Truth-Always,Right Thing Right Time Right Place,Collaborate,Work Together,Share and listen,Excellence,Respect,Ask for help and give help,Think for yourself and Be Cyber Safe.That isn't all there is still thousands more but I cant sit here and write them all. Maybe when you can think about some of these and see how it can affect you.

On Friday we had our school learning ion the making it was a time when everyone could book into some confrences on something you wanted to learn about.You got to choose four workshops. I had a fun time and got to go into workshops I really enjoyed.My favourite workshop was Stick craft making cant wait for next week

This is Toki one of my best friends I spent lots of time with him in the hoidays. It was nice to hang out with him because we don't see each other as much now he is really awesome and we had fun.

This week I had a good week because everything just went so well. I had a good week but still cant wait till the long weekend,i am behind in my AWS but that is easy to fix.I have completed some more work like blog post's and other activities. I had a fun time doing PE and seeing all the animals at calf club on Wednesday,at tech my group almost finished another armillary sphere we have to finish that one and make one more. I cant wait to go to tech next week and I am also going to love Friday. Right now I am not looking forward to our school assembly.

                                                                                Today we made some creations out of sand and other things we brang to create. Me and Hamish made a hot wheels jump with a forest landing. I didn't really enjoy making these because Im not really into this kind of stuff. My opinion on this is that it was quite babyish.Here are some other ones that got made.

This was a good game but the south Africans slipped threw our back line scored the first try take a look and some highlights.

Goal: ‘Winning or losing does not define who we are.   Our attitude and how we hold ourselves does.’ (Howick Intermediate coach) And Self control I have aceived this goal because I held a good attitude, With my self control I acheived it because I got angry at someone from what they were doing to me but I held in my anger.

Last week our school competed in the aims games 2016 I was chosen for the rugby sevens team our school also had a 6-a side hockey team. We went to Tauranga on Sunday afternoon and we at Greerton Lodge Motel. When we got there we all unpack and then just chilled for a bit then we had dinner then got ready for bed. Our first game was at 8:32 in the morning the hockey people weren't playing till 3:30 so they came and watch our rugby games. The next day we had three games and then watch the hockey people play their night game at 8:30. We had three games on Wednesday and Thursday then two on Friday.On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon we went to baywave,and on Thursday night we went to Bayfair. After our games on Friday everyone went home. During the week my plus was walking off the field knowing that I did my job,My Minus was walking off the field knowing I didn't do my job.

                                            Daffodil Day Today our school is supporting people with cancer we all had to dress up as what we would like to be when we are older we also had to bring a cold coin donation.I dressed up as a chiefs rugby player my favourite is Logan dressed as a scoober diver. Daffodil day is when you support those people that have been dignosed with cancer you can help by donating money. Our school started the morning with  are parade to see what everyone dressed up as.

On the weekend New Zealand played Australia in a good game of Rugby.

Cross Country Yesterday My School had our School cross country. My heat was up first the 11 yrs girls went before the boys, There is one big hill that we call the KILLER HILL. You do it when you turn 11 the 11 yrs girls didn’t have to do the killer hill but us boys did. The killer hill was really big and on the way down it's a gravel road with grass on the side. I started on the grass but then I thought it will be easier on the gravel passed two people to be in 4th. Then they passed me again close to the finish I finish 6th and I was happy with that because it is my best placing. Next week I will be going Hauraki plains Cross Country

Recently the olympics have been happening in Rio So far New Zealand is fourteenth on the leaderboard. I have been watching the 7s,Swimming,Gymnastics,Cycling,Shotput,Rowing,hockey, and anything that is on tv that I feel like watching. I have mostly enjoyed watching 7s because I won’t to learn how to play well, Because I am entering the AIMS games for 7s rugby. I really like 7s rugby because I love rugby and I enjoy playing on the field when there's less players. I like it because we have more room on the field and we can run wider and longer. Unfortunately the Womens New Zealand sevens team lost their final against Australia and the Mens New Zealand sevens team lost their semi-final against fiji.

Art Reflection-Mural I really enjoyed doing my mural because I like drawing and most of it was drawing. I also enjoyed doing my draft because I added colour it was also fun when I made mistakes. To complete your mural you have to make a design and have an explanation on why you drew that picture. Then you put it all together and add some colour then put it on the good piece of paper. When you finish that start to watercolour your mural. After that you have the option of putting sharpie over the lines, to make your mural stand out.

Rugby Celebration On Saturday afternoon I had A end of rugby season celebration at the Miranda hot pools. I spent most of the time on the bouncy pillow we were in the pool alot aswell. There was some netball teams from Waitakaruru there having there prizegiving. After a while it started to get busy me and my rugby team kept tackling each other off the bouncy pillow. Then we had lunch and went back into the pool then I left.

Basketball On every Monday afternoon at school there is some basketball games been played to the hall from 3:15-5:30. Yesterday afternoon I played against Kihere It was a really close game Most of the game Kihere was winning but we managed to keep up. I got a goal but it took me so long to get it I had lots of chances to get one but my aiming was pretty bad, I got the ball back from intercepting. The final score was 18-18. I hope we will win our next game because it will be good. I really want to play against NPS Red. Yesterday when we were play Jake got three fouls and then had to go off when he went on we have no subs so we had to play with one less player on the court.

Rugby on the Weekend On Saturday morning I got ready for rugby I had to be meeting my team at the rugby fields at nine a’clock. My game was at eleven o'clock in wahi when I got to the Wahi rugby field, I had to switch on and think about what I am going to do in this game. This game was not any normal game because it was the Semi-Final. Unfortunately I was not named in the starting team but I still got to play 3 quarters of the game. Sadly we lost 36-7.

Rugby On The Weekend On the weekend there was four quarter final super rugby games being held the games were Highlanders vs Brumbies Chiefs vs Stormers Hurricanes vs Sharks Lions Vs Crusaders. The Highlanders won 9-15 the Chiefs won 21-60 the Hurricanes won 41-0 the Lions won 42-25. The semi finals next week will be the Chiefs vs Hurricanes and The Lions vs Highlanders. I can not wait to watch the two games next week I hope the finals would be Chiefs vs Highlanders because the chiefs are my favourite team and the chiefs and Highlanders are both New Zealand super rugby teams.

In the the holidays she went to the movies to watch the Ice-Age Collision Corse and to watch finding dory.She had some students from america come over and they went for a walk in the karangahake gorge when it was raining when they were finished they went to McDonald because the students have never tried the McDonald pie the they went home the the next day then the students went home. She also was feeding animals for her neighbour to get money.

    On Saturday night 18th of June the New Zealand international rugby team played Whales in Wellington.It was a close game in the first half with Both teams having a converted trie and a penalty kick each . Our try scorer in the first half was Israel Dagg and our kicker was Aaron Cruden. In the second half Aaron Cruden got tackled and landed weird with a Whale's player on top of him and went to hospital,coming out with a serious back injury from how he landed. The All Blacks Managed to score another four tries to win the match the whales also scored some more tries. Each International rugby team plays a team for three weeks that is why we played the Whales again. The final score was 36-22 to New Zealand the last game against Wales is in Dunedin next Saturday Night.

On the weekend I went to watch my rugby team play rugby in Tairua I only came to watch because I am on cruchers. I went and watched the game to support my team and because I am captain as well our co-captain was Jei. It was a close game in the first half at halftime the score was 7-0 to Tairua. In the second half the scored three more tries and one conversion we scored one try and mason missed the conversion. The final score was 24-5 to Tairua it looked like a good game to play and next week we will be playing Mercury Bay in Ngatea. I will probably be playing that game.  On Saturday night I watched the All Blacks play Whales My favourite try was Israel Dagg My second favorite was Ben Smith and Waisake Naholo.

On Saturday the 11th of June New Zealand played Whales in a close game of rugby union.Whales had scored the first try and were leading at half time 18-15. The first try scorer for New Zealand was Julian Savea at half time the all black try scorers were Julian Savea and Wiasake Nahalo. In the second half New Zealand caught up from the try scorers of Captian Keiren Read and Nathan Harris. This game was really close in the first half and they play again on Saturday in Wellington. My favourite try was Julian Savea's try. Video Link

Last week on Friday the 26th of May,The year seven and eights from schools around New Zealand went to NYLD in the Vodafone events centre Auckland. NYLD stands for National Young Leaders Day,NYLD is a day for year 7&8's to go listen to leaders speak to you about being a good leader. There were over two and a half thousand other students at NYLD this year. My favourite speaker was Valintine because he was really funny. I can't wait till next year when we go again.

This New Zealand movie has collected 9.7 million in the seven weeks it has been showing.

Goal: I organise myself to be ready to learn. I know when I need to take a break from my learning. This week the goal has been helping me finish my learning because I have taken more brain breaks. When I take more brain breaks I feel fresh and when I feel fresh I complete my work easier . I do not focus when I don't have brain breaks.

So far in the book brian has been traveling to New York to see his dad,Because his parents divorced and so Brian stays with his mum in the school weeks and then goes to his dad's in the summer. Brian is traveling with a pilot that is in his mid-50’s Brian has had a turn at flying the plane because the pilot was in pain. After a little bit more flying Brian realizes that the pilot was having a heart attack the pilot’s skin goes cold he is dead. Brian starts controlling the plane until it runs out of fuel and he crash land into a lake shaped as a L. He throws up and screams as he's walking out of the lake wet and cold. And he had ripped cloths and was really scared.

GOAL: I organise myself to be ready to learn. I know when I need to take a break from my learning. To achieve this goal I am going to Go to sleep at eight thirty and set my alarm at ten to seven. Also I am going to have a bigger breakfast and have a mandarin on the way to school. During the day I am going to drink lots more water to keep me hydrated.

Goal: To choose the right learning space for the right learning. This week the goal really helped me because I completed my work,This week I was sitting with my friends only a little bit. Next week I will try improve and not sit with my friends and next week I will get all my work done.

On May the 9th 2016 fireman Cory Kalanick saved a little grey kitten from a house fire. After the house firemen were checking the house then Cory found the dead kitten laying on the ground in front of him. Cory picked up the kitten and took it outside next to the fire truck and pulled out some gas and got a water bottle. And luckily the kitten came back to life.  

Looking at the picture and reading the back of the book,I think the plane gets hit by lightning and crash lands into the bush or the lake down below. All Brian has to survive is a HATCHET,Brian is a city boy and dosen't know anything about the wild. Brian has to learn to live the hard way or die, If I was Brian the first thing I would do is build a little hut and then make a bow and arrow with bamboo and string in the bush. I am really looking forward to reading this book because I have heard it will be a good book for me because I am into those kind of book's.

I do well on Choosing good places for me to work that suit my learning. This is good because it doesn't distracted other people while they are learning. I think I need to work on putting more effort into my work.

                                                                                                                                                           

I can make positive choices that are right for my OWN learning. It has been going well for me and has been helping me get my work done faster. It's also good because I can proof to myself that I don't always have to sit with my friends to do my work.For example when I sat down to do my AWS Hamish came to sit next to me and I said to him it's best for us not to sit together so we can get our work done. I can't wait till the next goal because I am going to try 100%.

On the nineteenth of may 2015 a Hungry python decided to swallow a large pair of barbeque tongs. Aaron Rouse is from Australia is the pythons owner. Aaron said he was using the tongs to feed a rat to Winston (the Python) grabbed on to the tongs and wouldn’t let go.Aaron tried extremely hard to get the tongs out of Winston's mouth. He wouldn’t let go, Aaron decided to leave the tongs in the cage and left the room. When Aaron returned Winston had swallowed the tongs whole.When Aaron and Winston arrived at the veteran the vet could not believe the size of the tongs. The vet removed the tongs peacefully in surgery in the x ray you can see the tongs in his body. Winston is in recovery and is doing fine Thankfully.

Having a bad time with freinds at school all you have to do is Smile More and you will feel beter. Smiling more will make you feel beter in any sictiwation,because it makes you feel good and everyone likes feeling good. Also when you are having a bad time you can think about whoever you look up to. Just do what you want to do not what anyone else wants you to do, for example you really like Writing but all your freinds like Maths it dosn't mean you have to like Maths aswell. And whatever your doing try your hardest ecspecially when it is a really important teast. For some people listening to music helps them Smile More. Just remember to SMILE MORE and mayby you can pass this message on to a freind.

On Saturday I enjoyed a day out at a truck show in Matamata with my Grandpa. There were so much trucks and fun activties, after we looked and took photos of most trucks we looked at the truck modles that were in a truck. A truck driver had collected lots of truck modles from his father n law to put in the back of his truck to show off. He said his Father n law had been collecting the trucks for over three years. After checking out all the trucks I had a go in the small sized zorb ball for my first time it was really fun doing flips. After a done a backflip I got stuck upside down we finished off there with some hot cinnimon donuts and a cold coke then we went food shopping in Thames.                                                                       On Sunday I went to the skate park with my freinds Tawa and Logan. On Tawa's skate board I tried to do somthing and I fell off and scratched and broosed the side of my left thy. But that wasn't it I tried it again af

John has made 9 traps so far out of 200 litre drums, recycled  cans and plastic. Berry has set up 7 of his homemade traps around the outskirts of town with volunteers willing to give the traps a go. A British man Matt  Mc Keown has made the world record for the WORLDS FASTEST TROLLY,isn't that amazing. He has reached 70.8 kilometers per hour on this rocket powered trolly this was held at Santa Pod raceway in  Northamptonshire,UK. Matt's trolly is powered by a jet engine from a chinook helicopter, Matt believes he could   eventually  reach 110 kilometers an hour. The trolly itself has go kart tyres for added stability and a basic steering system has been added.

If you are sick of riding the slow school bus to school every morning try riding a rocket bike,Swiss cyclist Francois Gissy traveled on a 333 kilometer racetrack he finished with the time of 4.8 seconds to reach the record speed.This awesome Cyclist believes he can do 400 kilometers per second on the next run on the track,after his record breaking ride he said it is extremely  intense .  This seems like a lot of fun but if you do this get your homemade superman bike checked by a professional first. A  Labrador retriever got blamed for crashing a tractor trailer when it accidentally kicked the truck into gear before rolling threw a parking lot. In the meanwhile the dogs owner was in the dairy, Luckily a passerby leaped into the cab and put the truck in park but before that the truck crashed into a tree luckily nobody is injured.This was held in Minnesota on the eighth of March 2016.  For more information click the link below. On Friday twenty sixth the teachers read out who was in what leadership role,on Monday twenty second we filled out a form about what leadership roles we wanted to be apart of. I got chose for being in the sports team and being a security monitor,cloak bay monitor and newsletter monitor. The security monitors go around the classroom at the end of the day making sure that all the windows and computer shelf's are locked. A Newsletter monitor runs our school newsletters down the road to local shops every Friday. A cloak bay monitor make's sure that the cloak bays are tidy at the end of the day. I am not sure what you do when you are in the sports team so I am looking forward to it.

34 year old surfer Mick fanning was attacked by a shark in the middle of a surfing competition on the twenty first  of June 2015 in South Africa. He said that he felt like he was going to start paddling and get going again but then he had a feeling that someone was behind him then all of a sudden he started getting pulled under water and a shark came up. And he was on his surf board and the shark was right there and he could see the whole fin thrashing around he was still attached to his board it felt like he punched the shark a couple of times then the shark was dragging Mick under water and his leg strap broke then he started swimming,swimming and screaming and he was yelling at "jaws" but the shark was coming at him. On Tuesday sixteenth of February my class and I did a team building challenge. The challenge was to make a tower that could old an apple without the tower falling over, you had to make the tower with your learning team. You had to make your tower with 20-30 straws and a roll of tape, you had to keep your noise level down so that none of the teams will yell or get distracted. Building the tower was fun because you got to collaborate with your learning teams and you got to see all the other awesome towers. Whatever team had the tallest tower that could hold the apple won my learning team did'nt do to bad. This is like what we had to do but with an apple.

There are two types of mindsets there is a Fixed mindset and a growth mindset,a fixed mindset is a negative mind people with a fixed mindset say negative stuff about a hard task like... That's Impossible,I cant do it and I'm so confused. But if you had A growth mindset you will be saying... I am making it impossible for myself,I can't do it yet and I'm so confused but I'm going to give it a shot. Silly,Funny,Quite,Exiting Funny,Smart,Cheeky,Silly Wonderful,Smart,Silly,Awesome Silly,funny,Cheeky,Exiting My parents will think I'm silly and cheeky because I'm silly and cheeky at home. My freinds think I'm exiting and Funny.

I thought Marama was going to be easy if I listen to instructions correctly and it is working so far.I also thought we will have harder and more work because were not year 6 any more, we have more work and its harder that last year. It's different than I expected because we started it the hall because our classroom got remade way better than last year. Marama  is better than last year because of the knew classroom and the cool work we do.

The Marama Way has lots rules that our class has to follow the reason we have these rules is for our safety. The rules are tell the truth always,be brave,respect,smile,Ask for help and give help,Excellence,Think for your selves,Right thing right time right place and take a break. I fit into our Marama way because I  put away the furniture after I'm finished with it.My role is to follow the rules on the Marama way.

On Monday me and my class did a multiple intelligences survey and I found it easy to do.Some of the questions were different.I have discovered  that I am good at word smart and myself smart questions.My strengths are probably myself,picture and word smart. I learnt that I can achieve on the ones that have low scores,I can get better by practising.The smarts test showed me what I am good and bad at on the smarts test.

Port Jackson Campground On the 27 of January It was my birthday and we left to go camping at Port Jackson Campground at lunchtime. We camped for 5 days and Came back on Monday in the afternoon. I really enjoyed it because we caught lots of fish on the boat. The people that bought our old old car were there with their boat and there mates caught two massive kingfish they were probably one in a half meters long we got to watch the filet them and there were big pieces. I really enjoyed my fantastic Port Jackson Campground holiday.
