This week was an okay week I finished all my work and didn't get in any trouble.A minus this week would be that we have been going swimming and I keep forgetting my togs,It also sucks that we swim in the morning.Another good thing this week is that I went to BMX and it was ribbon night and I came home with a 3rd place.

This week was not such a good week for me because I made some bad choices on Wednesday so I ended up somewhere else away from the class on Thursday, out of this the lesson I learnt was to not get to big for your boots and treat other people how you would like to be treated.Too solve my attitude and behaviour I am going to stay quite and not sit next to my friends because then I will get some more work done and and i have noticed I am a different person around my friends anyway. Something good this week was Tuesday because after school I went to BMX and I didn't do to bad so I was proud of myself first race I got a second not far behind the first-placer,second race I got a second again,but this time I was a little bit more behind the first-placer. Third race I managed to pull of the gate quicker witch lead me right next to my challenger an where I lose my chance of getting first i was in front of him at that point in this race,I was telling myself not to mess up and keep my speed up

This week the word was  Disappear I enjoyed it this week because it wasn't that hard to do and there were lots of sentence ideas.

My IE Self Reflection What was the most important thing you learned? What was your favourite thing about this project? The most important thing I learned was that when you design Drift Trikes they design them to be as light as the can,so its easier to load and unload the Trikes off the trailers and it lets the Trike like better. My favourite thing about this was creating my video on drifting because it was fun to film with Blake and It was a very nice and sunny day. What changes did you make along the way? What was the toughest part?  How could you improve this the next time? I had to change a couple of questions because I couldn't get answers, it also helped with my driving question. Last week on Friday morning we went into the hall to present our IE,I reckon that is was pretty mean to share my learning with other students at my school.My IE was about Drift Trikes and the little fellas really quite liked looking at my Drift Trike.It was good because I had my Drift Trike on display.The worst thing was that the kids kept sitting on my Trike and when I told them to get off they didn't.

This week was pretty good I completed most of my work and on Thursday we had a go on  the go-kart and it was really fun.A minus of this week was apparently I didn't finish all my maths so I will have to be in workshops on it.

This week was and okay week with calf club on Wednesday for the ones that didn't do calf club we made some little sand creation/Garden things we also made some “Perfect Pikelets” with the pikelets we had to put one on the table to be judged by the teacher.I didn't win but I was fine with that because we got to eat the afterwards anyway.A minus this week was that the teachers were grumpy so we kept getting told off.

3 favourite experiences of this term and why… This year 3 of my favourite experiences of this term was LITM because I had a chance to teach them how to drift on Drift trikes,Also liked Pet Day because me and Tawa did a Prank on people.I have also loved entering into Made Awards because Its a good experiences. For the past couple of weeks my class and I have been going down to the college to learn some volleyball tricks and today we had our tournament a thing I disliked was that there were some really annoying people the tried to play the game by them selves and kept going into other peoples positions. I also dint like the fact that we kept losing and had no chance of winning because only some people tried. A thing I like were our leaders because they were all supportive and they were all teaching us how to played and they loved doing it to.Overall tho I liked the experience and it was quite fun.

This week was a good week because It was a chilled week and there was no point of the week that i had to quickly finish work.I have also enjoyed the week because I am going to have a good weekend because we have something mint planned. A minus this week was that we made some posters and my buddy wasn't talking and that really grinded my gears.

This year I have raced at Paeroa BMX track and the season had finished at the start of the year the new season will be starting in October this year.I am very excited and can't wait to start racing again,One of my goals for when I get back on the track is to try and come first in my grade.It is quite a challenge to win in A grade because there is some people that race at nationals New Zealand.Another goal for me will be to get a better start on the gate and get my balancing sussed as I am not the greatest at balancing at the gate.I would also like to get more height on the jumps and pull the bike up with my body more than what I do.I can't wait for the season to start and get back on the track hopefully I do well and get some good ribbons to add to the collection.

This year me and a couple of others have been picked to enter into made awards the reason we got picked in the first place was because of my my future video.But in that video I was selling me as a Mechanic and I had to sell My business so I got a couple of friends to help me and this is the before and after.(My My future and Our made awards business one)

This week was an OK week on Wednesday I used the learning power Connecting because our whole class help Moana Nui for the day and we were connecting with them about their learning.It was not that fun because I didn't have the patience to listen to the little kids screaming.A minus this week was that I only had three days to complete all my work,Also this week me and a couple of my friends are entering in made awards so we filmed the video on Wednesday so i cant wait to enter.

This week was a good week on Tuesday we had our school cross country,it wasnt that good tho I did heaps worse than what I thinked i will do.Next week it is huariki plains but i am not going cause I did not do to well.

This week i had a pretty good week my favourite thing this week was going down to whenua to help Blake with his writing,I liked it alot this week because me and blake had a good story and it was just fun to work with him.A bad thing about this week was that I was in like four maths workshops and I hate going to them.This week we also started our book worms and I have alreading completed four of them so i am looking foward to try winning the compitition.Other than that I had a good week and i loved it i am also looking foward to not going to school tomorrow.

Today I am towing my Drift Trike Elmo because the back wheel has no pvc on it and the tyer is flat,The reason i'm towing it home is because you can't ride on a punctured tyre.Last night I made a trailer so that I can tow my Drift Trike, this trailer has two bits on the side so that the two back wheels can sit on it.I am going to use straps to hold the front wheel from turning and I am also going to use straps to hold down the back axle.Hopefully this goes as planned and tows well,I have already strapped the front wheel and have almost strapped the back up.Only one of my friends believe in me so I am hoping to prove everybody wrong.My plan is to tow Elmo home so that I can fix it and get new pvc for him,When I fix this I will be very happy.I am mostly annoyed at the fact I only just got new bearings for Elmo,Now I already have to do another job on him.At morning tea we should get this finished then I will test drive it and hope my tow job works.

It is CONSPICUOUS that I love Drift Trikes.

This week was a good week,this week we re-positioned our avatar on the Tuakana Teina wall.Also this week I went to two PE sessions and they were both great both times we played jet ball.I love playing jet ball especially when there is lots of players.A minus of this week will be that the teachers took every ones name of the Tuakana Teina wall so we can think about more,That is annoying me because it took me a term to get on Tuakana.

      Kermit the Triad  Underworld 2 Drift Trike is for sale at $175.The back wheels are looking a bit thin and there are like two little paint chips also there is one bolt out of six i think is missing from the rim to the pipe on the back right wheel but I have not had any problems with it, but other than that Kermit is in good condition.The brake pads still have a lot of meat left and the front wheel has still got lots of tread.Kermit has an adjustable seat so it can move from the front of the Trike to the back for taller and shorter people adults in their early twenties and children upto 7 can ride this.All the framework is still good and there is only a little bit of rust on a couple of bolts.I have only had Kermit for about 6 months.

I am very optimistic I will crash my Drift Trike in competitive race

When you buy the underworld 2 Drift trike one of the first things you will notice is the fact they only come in two colours such as black and orange and the other one  green.On the underworld 2 Drift Trike the seat is adjustable for taller and shorter people,this way adults up to early twenties and children as low as seven can ride this Drift Trike.Also on this Drift Trike it comes with one front wheel size is 20x2.35 and two back wheels,the back wheels on this Drift Trike are heaps better than the airwalk Drift Trike these back wheels last longer and slide heaps better. Also this Drift Trike has lots of framework so it can hold the weight of up to 120kgs.This framework also helps make this Drift Trike look a whole lot better and it was a selling point for me.I have had my Drift Trike for about 6 months and it is in good shape although I need to put new wheels on it and slide on my new grips. These past two weeks it was our holiday,I had quite a mean holiday i was working most of the holidays so I can go to Aussie.When I was working me and my dad managed to spill 50 litres of oil in the workshop. When we refilled the oil we didn't do up the oil filter cap so when we started the truck almost the whole 50 litres of oil went all over the workshop floor.That was the worst mess I have ever cleaned up.Also in the holidays I had rugby training I also went to Auckland to watch a movie I really like my holiday and it was a good time away from school.

This time in metal we made roosters it was a fun experience and I was happy with the way it turned out.At the end we painted them and the paint job turned out well.There was only about three of us the had finished.

This week I had a good week because I have been catching up with the teacher about my Tuakana goals so I should be going up to tuakana soon.This week I have also enjoyed going to Whenua and we did a sport thing at the collage and I really loved that.

On the weekend that had just past I was in Manaku and I went down a slide on my scooter and really hurt my nose.Because I hit it on the handle bar of my scooter.

COMMA WORKSHOP As soon as the bell rang Rawiri, who couldn't wait to read his new comic book, raced out the door. When he got home, he found to his surprise, a police car parked in the driveway. Rawiri's mother , who had been out shopping had arrived home to find the bathroom window smashed and many of their belongings missing. Their house had been burgled. Rawiri couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the state of his room. His comic books , which he'd left neatly stacked, were scattered all over the floor. His piggy bank , in which he'd put most of his pocket money , had been smashed , and left lying in pieces on the floor. But the worst thing of all was that his rugby ball , the one signed by Jonah Lomu, was gone. Rawiri sat down and cried.

Every Tuesday and Thursday me Heath,Luke, and Nathan go down to Whenua to help the little kids with their writing.We help them with their punctuation and we also help them with writing little stories.On Tuesday we did a punctuation challenge with the class everytime we go we have a buddy and so when we did the punctuation challenge we did it with our buddy.

This week was very dumb because when I asked to go up to tuakana I got told I couldn't go up.The worst thing was that I have asked heaps of times and every time I asked I get the answer no,so that really annoyed me. A positive thing this week was going to Whenua to help the little kids with their writing.

The race I won on my Drift Trike was SPECTACULAR because I was drifting really well and no one could get past me.

I was in a race on my Drift Trike until I get hit and go flying into the fence when I hit the fence I had excruciating pain threw my knee.

It has been a long voyage and we have made it to Whenua.Aunty had told us to get out of the Waka and start to harvest the crops for Kai. Then we are ready for the celebration of Matariki.

This week I had a good week and I loved playing the different arrange of PE games and other thing to do with sport.I really loved playing Miss Coles game on the hockey turf.This week was heaps better than last week because I sat with not has much freinds and got heaps more work done.Next week I will do this again so I can have a really good week and try harder to get more work done.

Tuesday morning I'm getting out of bed and getting ready for school I need to wash my Drift Trike so it looks shiny after I wash it it's looking great,all I need to do is spray some tyre shine on and it will be sweet. Eggs are ready mum yells I go inside to eat breakfast then I brush my teeth and then I am off to school I pick up Blake and Boe and we ride to school together on our Drift Trikes.I get to school and see all my friends riding scooters waiting for me on the front court,Nathan jumps on my Drift Trike and gos for A spin.I go into class and put my avatar up and then hung up my bag,next I am off to the court. I see Nathan trying to jump the car tyres on my Drift Trike we change the Idea and we put a bigger sized car tyre behind it.Here comes Nathan coming in hot he's up!!,next thing he knows he's upside down with the Drift Trike on top of him. This Is my tagul on myself as a leader it has words that describe how I am as a leader.

When you are a mechanic you are always busy if you run a 24hr mechanic business you can be up really late and leaving really early,in the middle of the night you get calls saying that a drivers truck has broke down it is now your job to go and fix the vehicle. Sometimes when trucks breakdown you can't fix them on the spot so you might have to call a tow truck it is really annoying because it costs heaps of money. Usually a mechanic will have their own workshop somewhere close to their house at their workshop that is where they keep cars sheltered and comfortable so the can work on them. After you have fixed the vehicle you call up the customer to tell them it's ready then the tell you when they will pick their vehicle up and then you make sure it is ready for pick up.

Recently I have learnt about the impact around the trucks and there transport I have learnt about who built the first truck here is what I wrote about my findings. This Research has told me the first ever truck was made by a german automotive named Gottlieb Daimler,The truck he made had four horse power it had to forward speeds and one reverse speed. Gottlieb Daimler also invented the first motorcycle in 1885 and invented the first taxi in 1897.

If I was to have the best day ever I would like to have 50 million dollars and then buy 15 drift trikes 5 of my dream cars then go do whatever first comes to my mind, I would like to go and pick up some of my friends to do whatever they want to do aswell then I will go threw the list and tick them all off. Some of the things I would like to do is go to blaster cars,Rainbows end,Hampton downs,Meremere Dirt Track and lots more that I cant think about right now I would definitely buy lots with all the money I had.

My first few weeks at school this year have not been so great I dont really like having the same teachers because last year I didn't really make the right choices so this year, so they think I am the same as what I was last year so I want different teachers for a better start. There has been a couple of good things about this year like sitting on seats in assembly,I have also enjoyed being a year 8 with more year 7 friends. I have also not liked the tuakana thing we have in our class because if your not tuakana you cant listen to music and music helps me learn so when I dont listen to music I get distracted.

Today is Wednesday February the 9th 2017 the weather is really bad with really heavy down poor.This rain is so bad that their is flooding everywhere. There is one teacher that is trapped at her home in Thames cause of the flooding, There is another teacher that had to go home because her house was far away and she would rather go home before she gets trapped in Ngatea from the flooding. This morning when woke up I looked out the window and saw that there was heaps of flooding outside over the fence.I went to the kitchen and saw that there was even more floods at our other neighbours. We had lots of water all along the fence line it all came out onto the driveway aswell this is the biggest flood I have remembered at our house before.

IE’s This term my class is working on a project called IE’s that stands for individual endeavour for our IE’s we pick a subject (something that we are curious about).Then we research about it and find lots of new information from the questions we have.We have a couple of docs to work on then we start our creation,our creation is going to be something that relates to what you have been learning about.After our creation we present it to the class I am excited to present mine. My IE is about the impact around truck transport.

What is it I hope I will come to understand more deeply through this inquiry? -I Hope I will learn more about the impact around stock trucks and how much they have changed in the past,I will also hope to learn about how much the transport of them has changed. What knowledge might I need to help move towards this understanding? I will need to now about the stock truck and what they do and how the do it.
