Today in maths me and my friend Jett got three medals on IXL. IXL is an online maths website we had lots of practice. We have got the gold medal once aswell. The person on the right is me.
This week was not such a good week for me because I made some bad choices on Wednesday so I ended up somewhere else away from the class on Thursday, out of this the lesson I learnt was to not get to big for your boots and treat other people how you would like to be treated.Too solve my attitude and behaviour I am going to stay quite and not sit next to my friends because then I will get some more work done and and i have noticed I am a different person around my friends anyway. Something good this week was Tuesday because after school I went to BMX and I didn't do to bad so I was proud of myself first race I got a second not far behind the first-placer,second race I got a second again, but this time I was a little bit more behind the first-placer. Third race I managed to pull of the gate quicker witch lead me right next to my challenger an where I lose my chance of getting first i was in front of him at that point in this race,I was telling myself not to mess up and keep my speed up...
Recently the olympics have been happening in Rio So far New Zealand is fourteenth on the leaderboard. I have been watching the 7s,Swimming,Gymnastics,Cycling,Shotput,Rowing,hockey, and anything that is on tv that I feel like watching. I have mostly enjoyed watching 7s because I won’t to learn how to play well, Because I am entering the AIMS games for 7s rugby. I really like 7s rugby because I love rugby and I enjoy playing on the field when there's less players. I like it because we have more room on the field and we can run wider and longer. Unfortunately the Womens New Zealand sevens team lost their final against Australia and the Mens New Zealand sevens team lost their semi-final against fiji.
Did our Impact work? How do you know? Our original idea was a Human sized Foosball table, which we discovered wasn’t going to work with our timeframe and budget! So we changed… Yes, because we actually have a table standing! Our group had a few disagreements, but in the end it was painted, and ready to go! We think that all the other students will have fun playing with it because who can go wrong with a homebuilt Foosball table? Is the outcome what we imagined it would be? There were some parts we did not imagine it to look like what it does now e.g We did not think the fern was going to look as bold . What would we change if we were to do it again? We would probably put a roof on it like a glass roof. The glass roof would protect it when it is raining so it does not make the felt wet. And the ball won’t fly up if hit too hard. we would put some wheels on it to make it move easy. e.g make it portable. What have we learnt along the way? ...
Wow, cool. What do you get gold medals for? (Perhaps you could explain this a bit more in your post)
